Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Kulim’s Recycling Project
The Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Kulim launched a recycling project in early 2011. The main aim of this project is to create awareness among Sai devotees and residents of the appointed housing estates for these projects on the importance of recycling and the impact it has on Mother Earth, To nurture cleaner and social-responsible individuals.
Among items that are collected are paper, clothes, pastic, scrap metal as well as old electrical items.
A recycling company also generously provides 2 lorries with its drivers during each of the activity for the items to be collected. Residents of the respective housing areas involved have also joined in this project.
Through this project, the centre hopes to help nurture cleaner and social-responsible individuals. Money earned from the recycling project is used for future service projects by the centre.
